How do buyers contact me?
Buyers message you through the listing on YachtPact. You deal directly with the buyer from there — you negotiate, you arrange viewings and surveys, and any sale is between you and the buyer. YachtPact introduces buyers and sellers; we never hold deposits or transaction funds, and we are not part of the sale itself.
What photos should I send?
Your own photos of your actual boat — the more the better (our strongest listings carry 8 or more). Exterior from a few angles, cockpit/helm, cabin and accommodation, engine, and any equipment or upgrades you mention in the description. Please send the original files: photos linked from another site can disappear, and we will always ask your permission before re-using photos from your other ads. We never use stock photos or pictures of a different boat.
Who writes the description?
You do, in effect — your listing is built from your own ad and the details you give us, at the price you set. We never add specifications, equipment or history you have not stated.
Can I change or remove my listing?
Yes — any time, free. Ask us to update the price, details or photos, or to take the listing down, and it is done.
How long does my listing stay up?
Free and Premium listings run 365 days; Professional listings do not expire. Featured placement runs 30 days.
Do you verify my boat or handle the paperwork?
No. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing. Buyers are advised to arrange their own inspection and marine survey and to verify ownership/title themselves — see the guidance on our About page.
